Deena Drewes

Deena has been practicing the art of Henna since 1999, participating in Fine Art shows throughout Minnesota & Wisconsin during the summer months. 

Currently in school for Acupuncture, she anticipates the marriage of these two ancient arts to provide a truly unique Healing Henna experience for people in the future.

Ben Pepin 

Ben started out in the Henna business by being  the first "Glue Boy."  He has since developed into an extraordinary Henna Artist and has been actively drawing for more than 7 years.  In the off-season he enjoys the warmth of San Diego where he lives on his sail boat, wins sailing races and just plain enjoys life!

Shondra Pepin   

Shondra joined the team in 2003  and is truly an amazing artist in many media.  She has exceptional talent with fine ink drawings and hopes to develop a line of unique artistic clothing to showcase her art.

Shondra currently lives in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin and is available for home parties and corporate events in western and central Wisconsin.  

Marcus & Deena met during Market Fest back in 2003 and he has remained in the State Fair Henna Crew since then.  Marcus has infinite patience and precise attention to detail in every piece of Henna artwork he creates.  

He's truly remarkable!

Marcus resides in Minneapolis and is also a Master Gardener and Painter.

Emily Kelly

Emily accidentally fell into the crew in 2007 when she displayed a natural talent for the art of Henna.  She developed quickly into the friendliest Artist among the whole Crew! As the youngest of the bunch,  she dazzles us all with her maturity and strong work ethics.

Emily currently attends Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, further honing her artistic skills in the realm of Hairstyling & Esthetics.

Erik Kuronen

Erik started with the State Fair crew in 2007 and has been an integral team member ever since.  He is an extraordinary artist especially with his wildlife drawings.   He has also been dabbling in real tattooing and will succeed if he pursues that career.

In the meantime everyone loves having Erik's fun personality and humorous disposition around the Henna booth.

The Glue Crew

Roscoe Hanson

Roscoe is a Senior in Chisago City and will join us in 2009 for his 3rd year at the Fair.  He'll be off to college in the Fall.

Bryson Watt

Bryson will be with us for 2 years in a row this State Fair.   He is really hoping that the Rock Band booth will be at the X-Zone again!

Josh Rutherford

Josh has been hanging out at the Henna Booth since   2003 and was top "Glue Boy"  until he left us for the warmth of ASU after the 2007 Fair.  We're hoping he returns for the 2009 Fair....and so do all the girls!!
